Math Homework for 3/17

Hi everyone!  For your math homework tonight, you must visit the "Math Is Fun" website and READ the whole page.  At the bottom, there is a link to four question (it is a green box that says: Your Turn).  Do each of those four questions.
Also, visit this game.  You get to turn fractions into decimals.

To get full credit for your homework, please comment to this post.  In this comment ask one question that you still have about decimals.

Please make sure you choose "Name/URL" from the dropdown menu.  If you do not, you will probably not be able to post.  Don't forget that your comment will not show up automatically.  I have to approve all comments before they get posted online.

Good luck!

Dear people of the internet,

We have been working on our young authors night books. This year we have to write a biography about a president. We randomly selected three presidents and chose one of them. For the last few weeks we have been researching our presidents, and we have been writing our rough draft. We just started typing our final drafts. We have to know everything about them from their elementary school to the date they died. Our young authors night is May 4, 2011. Be sure to come and read them then!

Sincerely,

Mrs.Rivners 4th grade class (By Elliott)

What we are doing this week

Dear readers,

This week we are doing a lot of exiting things. On Monday we talked about appropriate costumes for the Purim carnival which will be next Monday. We discussed that the Purim costume you wear must relate to Purim in a way. For example you could be Superman because Mordechi is the hero of Purim. This week we also are typing our presidents young authors book which is due on 3/21/11. Today we looked at a Lewis Carroll poem and tried to translate it in our own word which is very challenging. In art we are making clay jars that are supposed to tell about ourselves. We have our current events due on 3/17/11.So that's what is happening in class this week.
