Homework for tonight! (Thursday, October 7)Find your "FANBOYS" Poster on this post. Take a close look at your sentences. Correct those sentences that you think might be wrong (make sure they have the formula: sentence comma conjunction sentence).

I think it would be good to change one sentice to:

That is what i think that sentince shold be.
My poster is not on the blog. But in the third poster I bought a present, for my mom is not a compound sentence. It could be I bought a present for mom, for my mom liked it very much.

ReplyDeleteMake sure you are using the SENTENCE comma conjunction SENTENCE formula. Is "my nice and generous mom" a complete sentence?
I bought a present, for it was my mother's birthday.
"I bought a present" is a complete sentence and "It was my mother's birthday" is a complete sentence.
Try another sentence.
I also think this sentince should be fixed:

Elliott, make sure you are using the SENTENCE comma conjunction SENTENCE formula. Look at Ilana's, Madi's and Taylor's comments for good examples.
Its the third poster what says i got apresent for my mom because its not combining sentences in to one sentence
